In 2019, we set out on a unique journey to bring to life the award-winning online project “History of Icons” in the tangible form of printed posters. This project offered a visual exploration of the evolution of icons across operating systems, tracing the transformation of these small but significant graphic elements over time.
As part of the ”new” Icon History, we have created a collection of 32 different posters, each reflecting the constant evolution of the user interface icons.
Our posters, crafted by Anna Abraham, draw inspiration from the original online project historyoficons.com, initially designed by Zofia Dunikowska. Subsequently, a talented team of designers from the Modulus.vision agency, under Zofia Dunikowska’s creative guidance, further developed and enriched this visual exploration.
